Transformation of a Former Farm into Small Houses
This project reimagines a former rural complex, once used for livestock and storage, as a clustered housing development made up of adjoining small houses. Each unit has its own entrance, offering residents privacy and independence.
The layout of the site preserves the original spirit, with a shared central courtyard and a landscaped green space for communal use. This setting fosters social interaction while highlighting the rural and welcoming character of the place.

The original buildings, classified as heritage, have been maintained in their initial configuration. The construction—especially the timber framework—was kept intact as far as possible to preserve the site’s authentic character.

Honoring the existing structures not only preserves the site's historical narrative but also helps cultivate a unique and inviting atmosphere, where tradition and modernity blend seamlessly.
